8:05 AM – Welcome Remarks, National Anthem & Survivor Vigil

Registration & Payment Information

If you have not yet paid for your registration, we will have a registration/payment station available on event day. We will have registration assistance available, but races will begin at their scheduled times and cannot be delayed for incomplete payments.

Parking Information

We recommend parking behind Kansas Wesleyan University near Bieber Hall. Additional parking is available at Sacred Heart, and street parking is also available along Highland Avenue.

Please note that Claflin Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue down to Mulberry Street will be closed during the event. The start and finish line will be located at the front of Kansas Wesleyan University.

• Water Station at the .50 Mile Marker
• Water Station at the 1.50 Mile Marker
• Wilson Street – 1 Mile Turnaround
• Mulberry Street – 5K Turnaround & 10K Turnaround x2

Bring Your Timers!

Because this is our first annual In Her Shoes Fun Run/Walk, the event will not be officially timed this year. We encourage participants to use running apps such as Strava, Runkeeper, Apple Fitness, or other tracking apps if you would like to personally track your run time.

First place winners for each race category will be determined by volunteers stationed at the finish line. However, we are already planning exciting upgrades for next year, including official race timing!

T-Shirt & Tote Bag Pick-Up

If you would like to pick up your race t-shirt and tote bag before event day, pick-up will be available:
• Thursday, May 28th | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, May 29th | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Be sure to grab delicious food from Don Toro’s and refreshing drinks from Aguas Frescas while enjoying the event festivities. (Cash or card accepted.)
